INTERPOL

While studying at Lyon 3 I'm taking an international law class called International Law and the United Nations. In summary its a basic introduction of international law through the practices of the UN. Its a super interesting class, but even more interesting was our last field trip. Our teacher works in Interpol's legal affairs office and last Thursday we got to take a trip to the Interpol headquarters which is in Lyon.

Thursday morning we met at the Secretary General bright and early and heard talks from the President of the Office of Legal Affairs, the Communcations Coordinator, the Fugitive Investigative Support Sub-Director, the Trafficking in Human Beings Sub-Director, the Environmental Crime unit and then the head honcho himself the Secretary General! Getting to meet and hear the Secretary General of Interpol talk was amazing! We were really lucky to hear from him.

We also got a bit of a tour of the building and the CCC (Command Co-Ordination Center).
